MASJID BELLMORE

1425 Newbridge Road, North Bellmore, NY 11710

Jaam’e Masjid Bellmore is a nonprofit, religious organization located at 1425 New Bridge Road (RT 106), North Bellmore, NY 11710, serving community through various services, programs and daily Salahs.

Masjid was formed in the summer of 2001. Originally it was a restaurant. The building structure has remained the same. Since establishing, we have purchased a nearby house which became the residence of our imam. In August 2016 we purchased the convenience store property next to the Masjid.

We are planning to expand the Masjid and build a second floor which would provide salah space for women, build a library and an office.

Al-Quran

Verses of the Day

  • O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

    Al-Nisa 4: Ayah 135
    Justice
  • "O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous"

    Surat Al-Baqarah 2:21
  • “And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful”

    Al-Baqarah 2:23
  • Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)."

    Surat Al-Imran Ayah 84
